Vancouver City Planning Commission heads to Habitat III

The Vancouver City Planning Commission is joining urban leaders from almost 200 countries in Quito Ecuador this month for Habitat III – the United Nations Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development. Commission co-chair Nola Kate Seymoar and Commissioner Jennifer Marshall are going to Habitat III as members of the Canadian delegation to share with the world’s leading urban thinkers and bring back best practices in planning and development to Vancouver.

Nola-Kate Seymoar and Neal LaMontagne: new VCPC Co-Chairs

At its May 25th meeting, the Planning Commission elected Nola-Kate Seymoar and Neal LaMontagne as co-chairs to provide leadership and direction in the implementation of the work plan, and in the Commission's engagement activities with planning and urban development professionals, with partners, and with the broader community.

Nola-Kate and Neal bring extensive professional urban planning experience to the Commission.
